Position Details
The Regional Resource LPN will float between the designated Community Mercy Hospital facilities.
About the role
The Licensed Practice Nurse, utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice, will assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult/geriatric patients.
Responsibilities
- Assess individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric patients
- Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
- Utilize theoretical concepts in decision-making
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Licensure: Current LPN license within the hiring state
- One year of recent bed-side LPN experience to work Med Surg. For all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.) a minimum of two years of recent bed-side LPN experience.
Qualifications
- Preferred Experience: Epic experience
- Certifications (Must have to start): BLS, ACLS, PALS, IV certification

- Ability to work with diverse teams and patient populations

Pay
No contract base pay is determined by experience. PLUS Regional Float Pool perk and shift differentials: $2.75/Evenings, $3.75/Nights, $1.50/Weekends.
