LPN - Regional Float Pool - Full Time - Nights

About the role

The Regional Float Pool LPN provides individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple facilities in the region. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on nursing standards and utilize theoretical concepts in practice.

Responsibilities

• Float between designated hospitals and work in diverse units including Med/Surg, ICU, ED, telemetry, and more
• Build clinical assessment and communication skills
• Collaborate with various healthcare teams
• Adapt to different patient populations and clinical environments

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current LPN licensure
• Recent bedside experience—minimum one year for Med/Surg and two years for specialty units
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and IV certification
• Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and patient handling

Key Duties

• Perform patient assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation across multiple units and facilities
• Demonstrate flexibility to float and adapt to varied clinical environments
