LPN - Regional Float Pool - Full Time - Night

About the Role

The Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) in the Regional Float Pool provides individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric patients across multiple facilities, utilizing theoretical knowledge for decision-making. This role offers opportunities for professional growth, skill development, and working with diverse patient populations across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Float between designated hospital facilities
• Work in diverse units such as Med/Surg, ICU, Emergency, and more
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide safe, competent nursing care
• Adapt to various clinical environments
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Maintain licensure and certifications
• Adhere to practice standards

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program
• Current LPN license
• At least one year of recent bedside LPN experience (two years for critical care)
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS (depending on unit), and IV certification
• Physical ability to perform duties involving standing, bending, lifting, and patient handling

Preferred Experience

• Epic experience is a plus
