About the role
Provide individualized adult/geriatric care as part of a regional float pool, working across multiple hospital facilities and diverse units.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
- Float between facilities and work in units including Med/Surg, ICU, Emergency, Oncology, and more
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- Current LPN license
- Minimum of 1-2 years recent bedside experience depending on specialty
- IV certification
- Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS as required
- Physical ability to perform duties including lifting and movement of patients
Skills
- Strong clinical assessment
- Excellent communication and adaptability
- Ability to work in dynamic environments
- Proficiency with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
