LPN - Part Time Evening

About the role

Provide professional nursing care in assisted living settings under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents' health, comfort, and safety by assessing needs, administering medications and treatments, and documenting care.
• Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively to emergent situations.
• Support healthcare professionals, counsel residents and families, and develop self-care education plans.
• Maintain effective relationships with residents, staff, and providers, ensuring confidentiality and clear communication.
• Perform testing, evaluate data, and contribute to care plans within the full scope of nursing expertise.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program leading to licensure as an LPN.
• Current licensure in practice state(s).

Qualifications

Preferred experience in long-term, sub-acute, or medical/surgical care.

Skills

• Knowledge of nursing principles, medication administration, and resident assessment.
• Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to handle emergent situations.
