Responsibilities
- Assess residents
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor health status
- Respond to emergent situations
- Ensure residents' health, comfort, and safety while documenting interactions and outcomes
- Support interdisciplinary team collaboration
- Communicate effectively
- Maintain confidentiality
- Counsel residents and families on care plans, prevention, and self-care education
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current practical nurse licensure
- Preferred experience in long-term, sub-acute, or medical/surgical care
Skills
- Knowledge of nursing principles
- Competency in testing and evaluation
