LPN - Part Time Evening

About the Role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care to residents of all ages in assisted living settings, under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ physical and psychosocial needs and contribute to care planning.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, perform testing to evaluate resident status.
• Recognize problems, respond effectively, and assist in emergent situations.
• Ensure residents' health, comfort, and safety through documentation and communication.
• Support healthcare professionals and establish effective relationships with residents, families, and the care team.
• Educate residents and families on prevention and self-care strategies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program leading to licensure as an LPN.
• Current licensure in the practice state(s).

Skills

• Preferred experience in long-term, sub-acute, or medical/surgical care.
• Strong communication, confidentiality, and teamwork skills.
