About the role
Provide patient care on a Neurology unit with moderate to high acuity cases, including conditions such as stroke, seizures, and brain injuries.
Responsibilities
- Conduct neurological assessments
- Monitor patient status
- Assist with mobility
- Manage medications
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Utilize the nursing process under supervision or guidance from registered nurses
- Ensure professional accountability and high-quality patient care
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program
- Valid LPN licensure
- BLS certification
- Physical ability to perform patient care tasks
