LPN - Neurology - Nights - Full-Time

About the role

Provide patient care in a Neurology unit with moderate to high acuity patients requiring frequent assessments and management of complex neurological conditions such as stroke, seizures, and traumatic brain injury.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process under supervision to deliver quality patient care
• Coordinate with other departments
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality
• Perform assessments and monitor patient status
• Assist with mobility and medication management
• Support multidisciplinary care including therapy services

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience
• Valid LPN license
• Basic Life Support certification
• LPN-IV certification (or completed within specified timeframes)
• Meet physical demands such as standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Capable of providing safe patient care
