Role Overview The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in senior living settings, focusing on safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation. Key Responsibilities Include Administering medications and treatments according to physician ordersFollowing the Six Rights of Medication Administration to ensure safetyDocumenting accurately in MAR/TAR in real timeMonitoring symptoms and administering medications for reliefReporting refusals or adverse reactions promptlyConducting Service & Health Updates (SHUs)Transcribing physician orders and supporting care plan updatesObserving and reporting physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residentsMaintaining medication carts, completing narcotic counts, and ensuring compliance with regulations Qualifications and skills required include an active LPN license in good standing, CPR and First Aid certifications, and strong assessment and documentation skills. Experience in senior care or medication administration is preferred. This role is vital in preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety through clinical precision and regulatory adherence.
