Role Overview The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Medication Nurse provides essential nursing support in senior living settings, focusing on safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation. Key Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician ordersFollow the Six Rights of Medication Administration to ensure safetyDocument all medication actions in MAR/TAR in real-timeMonitor residents for symptoms, adverse reactions, and changes in physical, emotional, or cognitive statesTranscribe physician orders and support updates to care plansConduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs)Maintain medication carts, perform narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulationsReport any medication refusals or adverse reactions promptly Qualifications & Skills Active LPN license in good standingCPR and First Aid certificationStrong assessment, documentation, and clinical skillsPreferred experience in senior care or medication administration Join a team dedicated to enhancing residents' quality of life by delivering precise, safe, and compassionate care, ensuring resident safety and regulatory compliance.
