LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Emergency Department

Role Overview: This position is for an Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for delivering direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and contributing to care planning within a clinical setting. The role involves addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, educating patients and families, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Perform treatments, administer medications, and conduct diagnostic studies following policies and procedures.Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.Collaborate proactively with physicians, ancillary staff, and team members to resolve patient needs.Participate in evidence-based practice decision-making at the unit level.Mentor and precept new staff and students to foster a professional environment.Contribute to patient assessments, discharge planning, and family education throughout hospitalization. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required).Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.Strong collaboration and communication skills.Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.
