LPN IV Certified - Orthopedic & Neurology Medical Surgical Unit (Weekend)

Duties

• Completes daily reassessments for assigned patients and documents findings.
• Updates and implements the plan of care.
• Reinforces patient teaching and family education.
• Administers medications and monitors patients’ responses to medications including intravenous fluids and medications.
• Collaborates effectively with all members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school of practical nursing or military equivalent is required.
• LPN IV - Lpn Iv Cert in the State of Missouri or Kansas, depending upon designated work location.
• Clinical\BCLS - Basic Life Support for 90 days.
• 1 year of Hospital setting.
