The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) administers nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, performing direct and indirect patient care tailored to the patient's age and needs.

Responsibilities

• Collecting assessment data
• Assisting with patient checks
• Documenting treatments and medication administration
• Teaching patients and families
• Monitoring IVs and blood products
• Initiating IVs
• Reporting changes in patient status

Requirements

• Current Louisiana LPN licensure
• Preferred one year of experience
