About the role
Novice Nurse – Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) with less than 12 months of experience.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor effectiveness, and document progress.
- Respond to changes in patient condition, reporting to supervisors or physicians.
- Coordinate and document care in the medical record, ensuring clear communication.
- Ensure safety and proper functioning of the environment and equipment.
Training & Experience
- Partner with experienced nurses for mentorship.
- Gain hands-on patient care experience, including vent/trach/g-tube management and critical thinking skills.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active LPN/LVN license.
- Current CPR certification.
- PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.
