LPN GIG - Flex/Per Diem/PRN - Mercy Springfield and Surrounding Communities

About the role

Provides patient care using the nursing process under supervision or RN direction. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality, coordinates care with other departments, and ensures professional accountability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver flexible, incentivized nursing care in Medical-Surgical and Behavioral Health departments
• Participate in the Gig Nursing Program
• Adept to varying shifts and last-minute scheduling
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to care standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• Current compact LPN license
• At least one year of recent bedside LPN experience
• BLS and IV certification required
• Additional certifications may follow

Skills & Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and turn patients
• Physical capability to handle up to 50 pounds
• Experience with Epic system preferred
