LPN GIG - Flex/Per Diem/PRN - Mercy South and Surrounding Communities

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering direct patient care
• Ensuring professional accountability
• Floating between designated hospital facilities and departments
• Flexibility in scheduling, including day or night shifts, with no mandatory weekends or holidays
• Participating in the Gig Nursing Program with variable hours and short-notice shifts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and valid LPN license
• Recent bedside LPN experience (minimum one year for Med Surg; two years for other specialties)
• Certifications: BLS, IV certification; ACLS and PALS preferred based on department

Skills and Physical Demands

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Stand, walk, reach, bend, and perform physically demanding tasks
• Experience with Epic software (plus)
