LPN GIG - Flex/Per Diem/PRN - Mercy Springfield and Surrounding Communities

About the Role

Provide patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or RN direction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care with other departments
• Ensure patient rights and confidentiality
• Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients

Position Details

• Flexible PRN/Per Diem/Flex/Float roles across various departments, including Medical-Surgical and Behavioral Health
• Varied shifts with options for day or night, no weekend or holiday requirements
• Minimum commitment of hours with responsibility for scheduling and availability on short notice

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program
• Current compact LPN license
• At least one year of recent bedside LPN experience

Certifications

• BLS
• IV certification
• Additional certifications may be required

Skills and Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and turn patients, with physical ability to handle up to 50 pounds
• Experience with Epic systems is preferred
