Role Overview

Provides patient care using the nursing process under supervision or direction of a licensed or registered nurse. Ensures professional accountability, coordinates care with other departments, and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care

• May work in Medical-Surgical or Behavioral Health departments
• Responsibilities include patient monitoring and support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• A current compact LPN license
• At least one year of recent bedside LPN experience
• Potentially preferred: Epic and IV certifications

• BLS
• IV certification
