LPN GIG - Flex/Per Diem/PRN - Mercy Jefferson and Surrounding Communities

About the role

Provide patient care using the nursing process under supervision or RN direction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across departments
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
• Float between various hospital facilities and departments such as Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, and Medical-Surgical

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduation from an accredited LPN program with current licensure
• Recent bedside LPN experience (1 year for Med Surg; 2+ years for specialized units)
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, PALS, IV certification depending on specialty

Skills & Physical Demands

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Prolonged standing, walking, and physical flexibility

Preferred: Epic experience
