LPN GIG - Flex/Per Diem/PRN - Mercy Jefferson and Surrounding Communities

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care under supervision
• Cook behavioral health, emergency, ICU, and medical-surgical patients
• Coordinate with departments
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
• Float between multiple facilities and shifts
• Responsible for scheduling a minimum number of hours
• Available on short notice
• Adaptable to shift cancellations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid LPN license
• Recent bedside experience (1 year for Med Surg, 2 years for other specialties)
• Certifications: BLS; ACLS and PALS preferred for critical areas, IV certification required
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform prolonged standing, walking, and other physical tasks
