LPN - Family Medicine - Per Diem - Days

Role Overview

Provides patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, utilizing the nursing process to meet developmental needs and adhere to hospital policies and standards of the Department of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients under supervision
• Assess and reassess pain levels, educate patients and families on pain management
• Monitor for adverse changes in patient conditions and notify appropriate healthcare providers
• Maintain knowledge of medications and ensure proper administration
• Engage professionally with patients and families, involving them in education
• Operate and clean medical equipment correctly
• Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

• Practical Nursing Registration
• Current CPR Certification
