LPN - Primary Care - Per Diem

About the role

This LPN position provides primary clinical support in a healthcare setting, assisting providers with patient care, diagnostics, and procedures. It involves obtaining patient histories, vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, administering medications and vaccines, collecting lab specimens, and ensuring proper documentation for continuity of care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in minor surgical and diagnostic procedures as directed by the provider.
• Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms, ensuring asepsis and readiness.
• Follow up on diagnostic tests, ensuring accuracy and proper filing in medical records.
• Communicate with patients, respond to inquiries, and prioritize provider needs.
• Promote a clean environment and adherence to organizational policies.

Qualifications

Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing is required.
