LPN - Clinical I (Meds)

Responsibilities

• Reviews and prepares patient records
• Initiates follow-ups and assists with medical needs
• Administers treatments, immunizations, medications, and performs point-of-care testing
• Documents all interventions accurately
• Collaborates with RNs and practitioners to update care plans
• Maintains immunization records and complies with health guidelines, including VFC program requirements
• Provides patient education, assists with discharge plans, and manages referrals and follow-ups
• Supports infection control protocols, trains new personnel, and manages clinic supplies
• Participates in emergency responses, maintains competency in nursing skills, and demonstrates cultural sensitivity
• Additional duties include scheduling, record keeping, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations

Qualifications

• 12 months LPN experience
• Hawaii licensure
• Basic Life Support certification
• Knowledge of conflict resolution, customer service, and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Acute care experience
• Proficiency in PC applications
