LPN - Clinical I (MEDS)

Responsibilities

• Reviews and prepares patient records and follows up on their needs.
• Administers treatments, medications, and immunizations according to provider orders.
• Performs point-of-care testing and manages lab and imaging reports.
• Documents care, monitors patient responses, and collaborates on care plan revisions.
• Captures immunization activities, maintains vaccine inventories, and ensures compliance with guidelines.
• Trains and mentors LPNs and unlicensed staff, supporting infection control practices.
• Affords assistance with patient discharge, follow-up, and education, including vaccine data management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months LPN experience.
• Hawaii LPN licensure and BLS certification.
• Knowledge of conflict resolution, customer service, and communication skills.
• Prior acute care experience and proficiency in PC applications are preferred.
