LPN - Charge Nurse

About the Role

Heather Glen Senior Living Community is seeking several outstanding LPN Charge Nurses for our Memory Care Unit. As a charge nurse, you will provide medications as needed, oversee Med Techs and Personal Care Aides, follow up on health care matters, and provide personal assistance to residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides individualized care to residents according to each resident's care plan.
• Evaluates resident's condition, gathers resident's data, and analyzes obtained information to assist in the development of the resident care plan.
• Maintains residents' electronic health records; documents observations as necessary per resident's health status and as mandated by federal and state requirements.
• Ensures the community follows all federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to resident services and care.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Handles multiple priorities and delegates assignments.
• Dedication to seniors and their well-being is essential.

Requirements

• Ability to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing; current Pennsylvania license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current CPR certification.
• Effective organization, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.
