Responsibilities
- Administering oral medications and IV piggyback fluids (excluding IV push meds)
- Charting assessments, care plans, and updates after RN assessments
- Communicating with physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to coordinate care and receive orders
- Performing dressing changes, trach care, NG tube care, and ostomy management
- Reinforcing patient education and discharge instructions
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in Illinois
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
- College diploma in Nursing
- Over 1 year of LPN experience
