LPN - Cardiovascular (Inpatient)

About the role

The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for managing a group of patients, delivering comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process, current trends, technology, and resources within the institution's philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Performing patient assessments and developing individualized care plans based on patient and family needs.
• Implementing and adjusting nursing interventions and procedures.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided.
• Ensuring patient and employee safety by reporting hazards and incidents.
• Providing direct care to CVMS patients, including post-op CABG, thoracotomy, and vascular surgery cases.
• Fulfilling departmental competencies and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Participating in communication, feedback, and ongoing professional development.
• Hourly rounding and assisting internal and external customers as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license and certifications in BLS and ACLS (within 1 year).
• Nursing diploma required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN.
