LPN - Cardiac Intermediate 4D

Position Overview

The role involves utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision or direction, ensuring professional accountability and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Cook up patient care with other departments in a high-acuity, monitored unit.
• Manage therapies such as chest tubes, lytic therapy, vasopressors, Bipap, insulin drips, and sedatives.
• Collaborate within a team-oriented environment, offering learning opportunities and mentoring.
• Potential career advancement into ICU units with an 18-month program.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience with licensure.
• Current LPN license maintained according to state requirements.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and turn patients (up to 50 pounds).
• Basic Life Support certification required; IV certification preferred.
• Open to both new and experienced LPNs.
