About the role

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Works in a 28‑bed fully monitored intermediate ICU (Progressive Care Unit) providing high‑acuity care to post‑operative cardiothoracic, vascular, and medical overflow patients; therapies include chest tube management, lytic therapy, antidysrhythmic, low‑dose vasopressors, BiPAP/high‑flow oxygen, insulin drips, and Precedex; collaborates with Neuro Trauma PCU and ICUs for cross‑training; part of the Critical Care Cluster; career path programs available to
