Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot access control, surveillance, RTLS, and nurse call systems
  • Run and terminate cabling; install devices and system components
  • Configure servers, network switches, and UPS equipment
  • Lead on-site teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to execute system designs
  • Train clients on system operation and best practices
  • Build strong customer relationships and provide ongoing support
  • Participate in vendor and industry training to expand technical expertise

Requirements

  • 4+ years of low-voltage installation experience
  • Associates degree from a two-year college or university preferred but not required
  • Experience with fiber splicing
  • State licensure is preferred
  • Previous people management and/or team development experience is preferred
  • Ability to work within the estimated job scope and budget is crucial to the success of this position
  • Physical ability to perform required job tasks
  • Must have a positive attitude and ability to communicate well with clients and team including email, phone, and in-person
  • Industry or Vendor certifications are a plus
  • Must hold a valid Driver’s License and be able to pass a One Source Background check
  • A basic understanding of LAN’s and IP addressing is required
