Low Voltage Technician/Inspector

About the role

Responsible for inspecting and maintaining low voltage electrical systems in commercial and residential settings. Conducts inspections, troubleshoots issues, and ensures compliance with local electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical systems for safety and compliance with local codes
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues in buildings
• Document findings and provide recommendations for improvement
• Communicate with clients and contractors regarding inspection results

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience in electrical work or related field
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Pass a background check

Skills

• Proficient in using electrical testing equipment
• Knowledgeable about wiring diagrams and schematics
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
