About the role

As a Low Voltage Project Coordinator, you will support and assist project team managers from project initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, be self-motivated, and adaptable to project demands. We seek candidates with growth potential to take on select individual account responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Draft schedules, vendor delivery policies, and project estimates.
  • Make recommendations for cost-efficient practices.
  • Manage document control and create an organized electronic filing system for construction documents, A/E design and engineering plans, submittals, RFIs, daily reports, contract/change orders, and closeout documents.
  • Assist with invoicing for A/E services and project-related expenses, including setting up vendors, verifying insurance coverage, and ensuring compliance with contracts.
  • Process invoices, verify budget compliance, and manage accounts receivable/payable (AR/AP).
  • Apply for building permits and assist with project bidding.
  • Coordinate project schedules, resources, equipment, and information.
  • Outline project timeframes and assist with schedule management.
  • Assist in setting and managing project budgets.
  • Analyze risks and opportunities.
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
  • Monitor working hours, plans, and expenditures using project management tools.
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through quality assurance tests.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Associate's Degree in Business Administration; Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience in the construction field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must pass a drug and background screen.
  • Knowledge of AIA and general invoicing/billing.
  • Experience in accounts receivable/payable (AR/AP).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and proficiency in Excel.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable.

Skills

  • Experience in lighting and electrical (a plus).
