Logistics - Kitting, 1st Shift $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Full-time logistics and kitting role at an electronic manufacturing services (EMS) provider serving the commercial aerospace, defense, medical device, life science, and industrial markets.

Location: Watertown, South Dakota

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday–Thursday (5am–3pm, 6am–4pm, or 7am–5pm). Overtime may be expected on Fridays.

Pay

$16–18/hour

Basic Purpose of Position

Perform the process of picking jobs/parts for production requirements.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Ensure all warehouse expectations are met regarding receiving, stocking, cleanliness, labeling, and picking of part requests for the production floor.
• Pick jobs/parts as needed to meet production needs.
• Issue material to jobs and perform transactions in the computer system.
• Verify and investigate component shortage issues for production's part requests, and communicate those issues to Materials and Production.
• Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Operate forklift truck or use pallet jack to move, convey, or hoist materials needed for jobs in production.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer navigation skills required.
• Physical: Able to lift 40 pounds with or without accommodation. Full physical requirements outlined in attachment.
• Language: Ability to read, write, and comprehend spoken work instructions in English.
• Teamwork: Ability to work in a team environment.
