Material Handler/Shipping - 1st Shift (Starting $19+/hour)

Key Responsibilities
- Unload items from shipping line, scan and tag cabs as needed, and place in proper locations
- Load/unload water test booth for assembly
- Load trucks needed for shipment
- Create crates per print for product needed for shipment
- Packaging of both production and service orders
- UPS assist
- Cycle count when time permits
- Aid assembly tugger route and other line side inventory deliveries
Key Skills And Competencies
- Basic understanding of shipping procedures
- Forklift experience preferred
- Basic math skills
- Ability to use and read measuring tools (tape measure)
- Understands computer ready weight system
- Good communication and personable skills
- Good written communication skills – including legible writing
- Ability to inspect incoming and outgoing products to quality specifications
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Office Software and WI Computer System, Oracle Computer System)
- Intermediate analysis and problem solving skills
- Previous OSHA Safety training preferred but not required
Working Conditions/Other Work Hours/Status
- 1st shift: Monday - Thursday, 5am – 3pm, with a shift differential of $3.00/hr
- 2nd shift: Monday - Thursday, 3pm - 1am, with a shift differential of $3.00/hr
- Weekend shift: Friday – Sunday, 6am-6pm for a total of 36 hours, with an additional weekend shift differential of $4.50/hr
Education And Experience Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is required
