Logistics Generalist Senior
Applicants must have an Active Top Secret/SCI US Government clearance with polygraph. US Citizenship is required to maintain this clearance.
About the Role
As a Senior Logistics Generalist, you will adhere to the regulations, guidelines, and SOPs of the Office of Logistics and the Sponsor's logistics and supply chain regulations. You will coordinate closely with senior Logistics staff officers and assist with the administration and control of material and service purchases, transportation of people and goods, materials management, facility services, cost tracking, and personnel resources within multi-faceted programs. Travel to CONUS or OCONUS locations may be required to support temporary logistics needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist with purchasing materials and services, including:
- Ordering materials through internal and external sources
- Validating customer requirements against regulations and estimating costs
- Reconciling financial statements to ensure proper expense recording
- Reviewing bills and invoices for accuracy
- Coordinate and arrange transportation of materials and personnel, including:
- Completing transportation documentation
- Shipping and receiving materials
- Arranging transportation for time-sensitive or fragile items
- Preparing materials for shipment according to Sponsor standards
- Transporting cargo, personnel, or equipment as needed
- Arranging courier and chauffeur services
- Researching and determining optimal shipping methods based on mission requirements
- Obtaining approval for freight, aviation, and aviation planning requirements
- Resolving courier and chauffeur scheduling issues
- Maintain inventories of goods and materials, including:
- Processing inventory requests and validating receipts
- Fulfilling property accountability and auditability actions
- Conducting property inventories and reconciling discrepancies
- Ensuring proper disposal of materials according to regulations
- Manage fleet and property-related tasks, including:
- Maintaining a vehicular allowance database
- Distributing and tracking parking permits, WEX cards, license plates, E-ZPass devices, and other items
- Serving as the Responsible Officer of record where required
- Coordinate with Facilities Management for office moves, renovations, and maintenance, including:
- Implementing office moves and establishing schedules
- Serving as a liaison between customers and construction workers
- Scheduling routine office maintenance
- Facilitating computer and phone service connections during moves
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (US Citizenship required)
- Ten (10) years of relevant logistics experience in the public or private sector, or a minimum of 24 months (within the last 3 years) of experience as a Logistics Generalist supporting a sensitive Sponsor program
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to obtain forklift certification (if required by office of assignment)
- HAZMAT certification may be required or desired (depending on office of assignment)
- Valid driver’s license

- Familiarity with Sponsor acquisition systems and logistics databases
Work Environment
Work is primarily performed in an office environment but may include conditions ranging from sedentary office work to environments requiring standing, walking, bending, lifting (light to heavy objects), or exposure to noise, dust, or dirt. Tools and technology used may include:
- General office equipment

- Forklifts (certification required every two years)
- Hand tools and material handling equipment
- Various types and sizes of vehicles
- Sponsor acquisition systems and logistics databases
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
Pay
$110,000 – $123,600 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on job responsibilities, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, and applicable laws.
