Description
Universal Music Group, Famehouse is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our US Operations team.
This team member will be responsible for interacting with many departments and customers each day and play a versatile role within the organization, as well as external warehousing partner relationships.
How you’ll CREATE:
- Develop and coordinate strategic and daily operational relationships with manufacturing vendors globally
- Work closely with the Logistics Manager to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to and from our fulfillment centers
- Support the Operations Team with shipment scheduling and tracking on Monday.com
- Purchase new supplies and foster relationships with vendors, as well as attempting to cut costs by leveraging bulk discounts
- Schedule supply deliveries to Vendors to minimize slowdown in the production process
- Proper inventory management of company supplies for vendors and tour department
- Audit warehouse orders and inventory stock where necessary
- Prepare and report on quality KPIs
- Ensure vendor chargebacks are issued for non-compliance
- Cross-train across the operations team
- Special projects as assigned
- Schedule shipments for the tour team and track each shipment thoroughly
- Gather logistics news, trends, industry updates and share with other departments

Qualifications
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics preferred
- Experience with order management and customer service
- Strong computer skills including extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- High Level of attention to detail
- Knows how or where to obtain information; is resourceful
- Ability to analyze data and trends, make educated conclusions based upon data
- Embraces teamwork; shares ideas / methods to improve performance
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
- Prioritizes work activities; plans and stays organized
- Manages timelines; deals effectively with the challenges of a fast pace, high pressure environment and deadlines

- Experience in consumer products, retail operations, or e-commerce is preferred
- Logistics and transportation experience preferred
- In house warehousing and distribution experience preferred
