Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for safely and quickly receiving shipments of new fully loaded racks, decommissioning old racks, moving devices/racks into and out of critical spaces, using hand and power tools to properly install the racks, conducting inventories and audits of materials, and installing devices and/or cabling in racks.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Moving heavy equipment and materials into and out of critical areas
  • General cabling & installation of equipment
  • General housekeeping in assigned work areas
  • Inventorying and auditing materials and equipment
  • Other tasks not listed may be assigned for training purposes or to fulfill the general needs of the client

Job Requirements

  • Education & Certifications:
    • A high school diploma or equivalent (required)
    • Forklift certification (preferred or must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory control (required)
    • Experience in a mission-critical, industrial, or data center environment (preferred)
    • Familiarity with inventory systems, shipping software, and digital logs
    • Military logistics or warehouse experience is an asset

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Basic computer proficiency (Excel, email, inventory management tools)
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow chain-of-custody and restricted-access protocols

Physical & Environmental

  • Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working in warehouse/loading dock environments
  • May require extended periods of standing, bending, or walking
  • Must be able to work safely around material handling equipment and power tools

Work Conditions

  • Full-time shift schedule (may include early starts or rotating weekends depending on operations)
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
  • Must adhere to all site-specific safety and security protocols
  • Will be required to wear PPE (steel-toe boots, vest, hard hat, gloves, etc.) as needed

Site Location

We operate a 24-hour facility where work hours (shifts) are assigned as needed to ensure job functions are performed satisfactorily, compliance is maintained, and the company operates efficiently. Certain positions, as specified in your offer letter, may require working irregular hours, such as nights, weekends, overtime, alternating shifts, and under various conditions, including outdoor work during extreme weather or in hazardous environments.

Compensation & Benefits

  • The hourly rate for this role is $30.00 per hour.
  • This range reflects a good-faith estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire, based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and market/location.
