Locums Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery NP

About the role

This position involves providing cardiothoracic surgery services in an ICU setting, including rounding, clinic work, and call duties. The role requires full-scope cardiothoracic surgery expertise, such as vein harvesting and experience with the Maquet Vasoview system.

Responsibilities

• Perform rounding and clinic work in an ICU setting
• Respond to beeper calls within 30 minutes, available two weeks per month
• Manage 6–10 outpatient cases and 2–10 inpatient cases weekly
• Conduct independent vein harvesting

Requirements

• Full-scope cardiothoracic surgery expertise
• Experience with vein harvesting and the Maquet Vasoview system
• ICU experience
• Flexibility in responsibilities and availability
