Locums NP - Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery

About the role

This role involves providing inpatient cardiovascular surgical care with a full-time schedule, including night and weekend call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Manage 30–40 inpatient CV surgery patients daily
• Perform 4–6 CVOR surgical cases per day
• Handle 4–6 new consults and admissions per day
• Provide ICU, floor, OR, and emergent procedural area coverage
• Perform endoscopic vein harvesting and first assisting duties
• Provide 24/7 inpatient call coverage

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cardiovascular surgery
• Proficiency in cardiovascular surgery
• Ability to handle high patient volumes
• Experience with emergent procedures
