Locums NP - Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery

About the role

We are seeking an experienced physician for a full-time cardiovascular surgery position with night and weekend call coverage. This role involves managing 30-40 inpatient cardiovascular surgery patients daily and performing 4-6 CVOR surgical cases, along with handling 4-6 new consults and admissions each day.

Responsibilities

• Manage 30-40 inpatient cardiovascular surgery patients daily
• Perform 4-6 CVOR surgical cases per day
• Handle 4-6 new consults and admissions each day
• Provide coverage in ICU, floor, OR, and emergent procedural areas
• Perform endoscopic vein harvesting and first assisting duties

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in cardiovascular surgery
• Strong clinical skills and ability to handle high-volume cases
• Readiness for 24/7 inpatient call coverage
