Locums NP - Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery

About the role

Seeking an experienced cardiovascular surgeon for a full-time locum tenens position with night and weekend call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Managing 30-40 inpatient cardiovascular surgery patients daily
• Performing 4-6 CVOR surgical cases per day
• Handling 4-6 new consults and admissions daily
• Providing coverage across ICU, floor, OR, and emergent procedural areas
• Endoscopic vein harvesting and first assisting duties
• Participating in 24/7 inpatient call coverage

Qualifications And Skills

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cardiovascular surgery
• Strong clinical skills in surgical procedures and patient management
• Ability to work in diverse clinical settings and handle emergent cases
