About the role
Seeking an experienced cardiovascular surgeon for a full-time locum tenens role with night and weekend call coverage.
Responsibilities
- Manage 30-40 inpatient cardiovascular surgery patients daily
- Perform 4-6 CVOR surgical cases
- Handle 4-6 new consults and admissions each day
- Provide coverage in ICU, floor, OR, and emergent procedural areas
- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting and first assisting
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience
Skills
- Proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting
- Proficiency in first assisting
- Ability to manage complex cardiovascular cases
- Strong clinical skills
- Adaptability
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments
