Locum Tenens Orthopedic Surgery PA

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Orthopedic Surgeon to provide locum coverage with responsibilities including a mix of clinical and surgical duties.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient caseload primarily consisting of adult patients, with occasional pediatric cases.
• Perform total hip and knee surgeries, with some involvement in hand cases.
• Handle clinic duties and assist in surgeries, with a schedule including three clinic days and two OR days per week.
• Participate in a rotating call schedule, covering weekdays and weekends.
• Maintain hospital privileges and ensure compliance with credentialing requirements.

Qualifications And Skills

• Experience in total hip and knee procedures is essential.
• Surgical first assist experience preferred.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage adult patients effectively.
• Ability to obtain hospital privileges and complete credentialing processes.
• Hospital privileges required.
