Locum Tenens - Orthopedic Surgery

We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to provide hospital call coverage in Paducah, KY.

Responsibilities

• Perform orthopedic surgical procedures including:
  • Hip nailing
  • Fracture management
  • Dislocations
  • Amputations
  • Deformity corrections
  • Tumor treatments
  • Total joint replacements and revisions (hip, knee, shoulder)
  • Spinal surgeries (with or without instrumentation)
  • Arthroscopy
• Provide 24-hour call coverage for orthopedic cases, including trauma and elective surgeries
• Manage diverse patient demographics: adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Utilize the EPIC EMR system for patient care documentation
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a hospital setting

Requirements

• Active Kentucky medical license
• Active DEA certification
• Proficiency in hip nailing procedures
• Strong surgical skills in trauma, joint replacement, and spinal surgeries
