Locum Tenens PA - Orthopedic Surgery

About the role

Locum tenens physician position covering inpatient and operating-room settings with a focus on trauma cases. The role involves adult patients across upper extremity, hand, lower extremity, and total joint cases.

Responsibilities

• Assist on trauma and elective surgical cases
• Manage post-operative inpatients
• Handle emergency department consults
• Perform fracture reductions, joint dislocations, and skeletal traction pins
• Cover rotating 8-hour and 24-hour shifts, including some clinic duties

Requirements

• ACLS and BLS certification
• Trauma management experience
• Surgical assistance skills

Pay

Compensation ranges from $85.00 to $110.00 per hour, based on experience and position needs.
