Locum Tenens - General Cardiology

About the role

This outpatient General Cardiology role requires a Board Certified physician with a California license to provide full-scope cardiology services. The position is a backfill for a provider during credentialing, with options for working two weeks per month or full-time.

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 20 outpatient cases daily using the Cerner EMR
• Provide full-scope general cardiology services in an outpatient setting (no hospital admissions involved)

Requirements

• Board Certified in Cardiology
• Valid California medical license
• Ability to handle general cardiology cases
• Interventional cardiologists comfortable performing general duties may be considered

Schedule

• Four to five days per week, primarily Monday through Thursday
• Flexible hours
• Options for working two weeks per month or full-time

Skills

• Clinical expertise in outpatient cardiology
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (Cerner EMR)
