Locum Tenens - Cardiology

About the Role

Join our team as a Cardiology Hospitalist in an inpatient setting at a 200-bed, Level 3 trauma hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient cardiology care for approximately 20 patients daily
• Manage 5 admissions per shift
• Conduct around 10 phone consultations per shift
• See 30-40 patients per shift
• Respond to roughly 20+ calls while on call

Schedule

Two providers alternate 7-day shifts (7 days on, 7 days off), with day shifts only.

Requirements

• Active Arkansas medical license
• DEA certification
• Experience in inpatient cardiology
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Key Duties

• Manage patient care, admissions, and consultations efficiently within a hospital setting
• Respond to calls as required
