Locum Tenens - NP Cardiology

About the role

Seeking an NP Cardiologist for inpatient care at a de novo site. The position serves adult and geriatric patients with an average of 10‑15+ patients daily, providing 100% inpatient care (no trauma designation). One provider is needed at the hospital located in Mechanicsville, VA.

Responsibilities

• Manage new patients
• Conduct follow‑ups
• Perform rounds
• Document care using EPIC
• Coordinate discharge planning
• Work independently alongside an Interventional Cardiologist

Qualifications & Skills

• Inpatient cardiology APC
• Proficient in procedures, documentation, and independent work
• EMR documentation in EPIC

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 0730-1630, with weeknight and weekend first call at a 1:3 or 1:4 ratio. Average callback hours are 2 per day.
