About the role
Seeking a Board-Certified or Eligible Interventional Cardiology physician to provide coverage in inpatient and outpatient settings, including general cardiology duties. The position supports ongoing staffing needs in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Schedule
Two weeks per month, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM the following day.
Responsibilities
- Perform interventional procedures
- Manage patient care for approximately 15 patients per shift
- Provide phone consults (2 per shift)
- Handle admissions (1 per shift)
- Cover call duties
Requirements
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
- Licensed to practice in Alaska
- Proficient with Cerner and Athena EMRs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
